THE REVD TRACEY CLEMENTS writes: from 1 October, I will be taking a six-month placement at St George, Cam and St Cyr, Stinchcombe, assisting the parish during its current vacancy. It will be a wonderful opportunity to gain new experience and serve another community. I will miss this benefice, but this is certainly not goodbye. I will continue to live at Vestry Cottage, remain part of the community and continue to be licensed to Holy Trinity. So, rather than goodbye, 'farewell' feels like the better word. I look forward to this new chapter while remaining very much connected to this benefice.

HANDEL OPERA – We will welcome New Trinity Baroque's production of Handel's Giulio Cesare in Egitto. The production is semi-staged, with acting, movement, costumes and props. It tells the story of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra against the turbulent political world of ancient Egypt. Tickets £18-£25, available on the door, or with a 10% discount online at www.newtrinitybaroque.org.

PINTS & PERSPECTIVES – Our discussion for September is on the theme of ‘Disagreeing well – dealing with differences in society’. Monday 7 September, 8.00–9.30 p.m. The Cotswold Club front room. All most welcome to share in the conversation.
