For the calendar, listing everything happening each day, see the website Calendar (click here).
Other notices are shown below.

ADVENT, CHRISTMAS, EPIPHANY – The coming season is not just Christmas but is the flow of three very different and special periods within the church year. On the stands in the parish church library (front left of the nave) are some books that can take us through these weeks. Please feel free to borrow them. Other sources are Church House Bookshop (click here for website) and Wild Goose publications, related to the Iona Community, who offer a wide range of low-cost books and resources, both paper and electronic (click here for website).

Donations are welcome for MARAH and the FOOD BANK. There is a collection point at the back of church. As Christmas approaches, we are asking on behalf of Marah for large boxes of biscuits and/or chocolates such as Heroes or Celebrations. These are often on special offer in the lead up to Christmas . We put these out as a treat for our guests. If this is something you would like to buy for Marah, please let Jackie Natt know (01453 731018) or put them in the Marah box.

CHRISTMAS CAKES FOR MARAH – Would anyone like to make a Christmas cake for our Marah Christmas celebrations? It needs to be a fruit cake with a marzipan and icing covering. It doesn’t need to be decorated. Any size or shape … but no alcohol please (use orange juice). I will need the cakes for Sunday 15 December (or collected by arrangement). Please let me know if this is something you could do. Jackie Natt (01453 731018).

WEEKDAY EUCHARISTS – We have introduced extra weekday Eucharists that we hope will prove helpful. These are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday mornings at 8.30 a.m., all in the Lady Chapel.

COMPOST – Following recent work on the compost bin near the west wall of the churchyard, there is some compost, ideal as winter mulch, available for collection. It is the pile between the bin and the yew tree to its right. The other piles are not yet well rotted.

CHRISTIAN AID BREAKFAST FOR GAZA – Saturday 23 November, 9.00–11.00 in the Porch Room.  Bacon or sausage baps, toast, coffee and tea. £5 an adult, £3 for under 16s. Proceeds to Christian Aid.
