In response to the house fire in Brimscombe, in which two children and their mother lost their lives,
on Sunday 4 January at 3:00 p.m. Holy Trinity will hold a Longest Day Service dedicated to Nu and her children and holding Tom and the wider family in prayer. Candles will be available for people to light and say a prayer for the family. This service is for anyone in our community who wishes to pray, reflect, grieve.
Then on Monday 5 January, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. we will offer a quiet and supportive space for reflection, prayer and remembrance. The church will be open for all members of the community. You are welcome to come and light a candle, write a prayer or message, or simply sit quietly. A prayer tree will be available for those who wish to use it. This space is open to anyone in the local community who feels the need to pause, reflect, and hold those affected by this tragedy in their thoughts and prayers. You are welcome to come for as long or as little time as you wish.
