RETREAT AT BROWNSHILL MONASTERY Friday 26 & Saturday 27 July 2024 – Two whole days to relax, unwind and rediscover the potential for spiritual transformation through shared silence, personal space and regular times of prayer with meditation. CELEBRATING PENTECOST TOGETHER, Sunday 19 May – This year we will celebrate Pentecost together at Holy Trinity, Minchinhampton in a joint choral evensong, with choirs from Amberley and Minchinhampton. The service will be followed by tea and cake. Please come and celebrate together.
BIG MISSION WEEKEND – Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Justin Welby, will come to the Diocese of Gloucester to join with our mission and vision. The weekend ends with a celebration diocesan Eucharist at Gloucester Cathedral at 3.00 p.m. We will thank God for all of the projects Archbishop Justin has seen and the people he has met, and look forward to the next season of mission and evangelism in the Diocese of Gloucester. Please come and join us for this joyful service of celebration and thankfulness.
QUIZ NIGHT 18 May, 7.00 p.m. – The Fundraising Committee is holding a quiz night to raise funds for the restoration of the historic stained glass rose window and for Christian Aid. Tickets cost £10 including supper and are available from the Market Stores.
FRIDAY LUNCH CLUB – The next lunch is on Friday 17 May, doors open 12 noon, food is served at 12:30 p.m. This lunch is for Christian Aid and falls in Christian Aid week.
