Minchinhampton Community Library - January 2016

We hope you all had a good Christmas and wish you a happy new year.

Minchinhampton Library enters its fourth year as a community library in January 2016 and I think anyone who is a regular visitor will have noticed some changes, including many changes to the decor and look of the library, especially the children’s section, and more is to come.

You probably haven’t had much time to read over the past few weeks but now, with the long dark evenings continuing for a couple of months, maybe you will have some spare time. So, don’t forget your friendly community library where members, both adult and children, can borrow up to 15 books at a time. We have a varied collection of novels which is constantly being added to thanks to very generous donations and to restocking from funds . Over 300 books have been added this year.

As many will know we recently added considerably to the children’s non-fiction, and a plan for the future is to improve the adult non-fiction section.

We always welcome new volunteers in a variety of roles, and training is, of course, given if needs be. If you would like to follow this up, please contact Adrian on 01453 731320 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
