In Minchinhampton we will have three Traidcraft events. There will be a Big Brew in the Porch Room after the service on Fairtrade Sunday. Then on Thursday March 2nd we will be holding a Traidcraft Tea Party in the Porch Room from 3.00 to 5.00. We shall be serving cream teas and homemade cakes and we shall be selling craft items in addition to the usual food items and the ever popular Traidcraft cards. Finally all profits from Sunday Breakfast on March 5th will be to Traidcraft. We shall be raffling a basket of Traidcraft goodies and the raffle will be drawn at the Sunday Breakfast. You are warmly invited to all three events.

Over 70% of people living in poverty in Africa live in rural areas and depend on agriculture for food and income. But many struggle to make a living, or afford basic things we take for granted. The money you raise by holding a Traidcraft Big Brew will help people to boost their skills, work together with their peers and dramatically increase their incomes. Lifting people out of poverty in this way enables them to feed their families, keep their children in school, and get healthcare when they're ill.

Footnote.....
As many of you will know, Clare Cooper has now retired from organising the Traidcraft events. Clare has done a fantastic job over the years!!
Taking over from Clare is a new team of 3 volunteers.
Deborah Smith will be looking after the finances.
Sylvie Thomas will be doing the ordering and pricing.

Jackie Natt will be organising the volunteers to run the stalls and events.
We look forward to carrying on Clare’s great work...please do continue to support Traidcraft events and if you would like to be involved then please speak to one of us.

See you at the next event!
