Messy Church continues to be successful and at our last one we celebrated The Good Shepherd. The children enjoyed decorating sheep, making masks of sheep heads and Shepherds, making straw musical pipes and decorating a very large sheep to go with our life size Shepherd. The children were told a story which included the 23rd Psalm. We then shared a meal together and guess what? It was Shepherd's pie all round!! The children enjoyed fairy cakes and fresh fruit and a really good time was had yet again at another Messy Church. Thank you to all the helpers who made this possible as the children and their parents really enjoyed themselves.
Our next Messy Church event will be Wednesday 5th June.
We start at 3:30pm and at 5:00pm we share a hot meal together.
What to expect:
A warm welcome – refreshments – craft activities – celebration worship –
a story – songs – prayer
Messy church is something different.
It's about people who want to do church differently and want to
share it with others.
